  1. Doctor Who introduced me to mobile mummies, around the time of its Frankenstein story “The Brain of Morbius”. “Pyramids of Mars” has Set an alien called Sutekh, imprisoned by his race, and as well as biers used as matter transmission portals has glorious lines like “I bring Sutekh’s gift of death for all humanity”.

Middle Kingdom stories are worth reading too. I loved “The Tale of the Eloquent Peasant”.

  2. Clare, thank you so much for your comment, it’s so fascinating. “Pyramids of Mars” has Set an alien called Sutekh, imprisoned by his race, and as well as biers used as matter transmission portals has glorious lines like “I bring Sutekh’s gift of death for all humanity”. – I’ve got to read Pyramids of Mars and the Tale of the Eloquent Peasant. I have to check out Dr. Who’s mobile mummies. Thanks so much for the information, I appreciate it.
